Like many of my fellow bloggers, I have just finished reading the Stephenie Meyer Twilight series. I am kind of an obsessive compulsive person so I was kind of annoyed with the fact that there were several typos (per book) but I was so pulled into the story. I have a way of immersing myself into books and it's very hard for me to finish them because I don't know what to do with myself. This book was no exception... I have to know what's going to come next!
So until the next book comes out (along with the next Fablehaven) I need to find something new to read. I think I'm going to read Pillars of the Earth on a recommendation from my mom, brother-in-law, and Oprah. If you've got any other great books in mind, let me know!!!

I loved the twilight series and can't wait for the next to come out!
I am also a bit obsessive about the Twilight series. Right now I am reading Stargirl and it is pretty good. I haven't finished yet, but I here it has a great ending. I also read the Spiderwick Chronicles to my class and they loved that series. It wasn't my favorite, but a good read a loud for kids.
Hey girl! Did you read the other 2 books in the Twilight series? The 3rd is my favorite. I LOVED Eragon and Eldest - they are fantasy stories about dragons. There are going to be 2 more books in the series. If you like fantasy, I highly recommend it! I really did like them a lot! I got tons of book recommendations from my 6th graders last semester. I just read Esperanza Rising and liked it and am about to finish the Da Vinci Code which I really like. Ummm, Have you read The Lightning Thief? I'm reading it next as I've heard it's awesome. How is teaching? What are your plans after this semester? Happy teaching and reading!
