2 Month Appointment

This is E right after her shots...look at how serene she looks! I was amazed!

I know I already posted about E's 2 month "birthday" but I figured I would post her stats from her appointment this morning for posterity's sake.

Weight: 11.9 pounds (75%)
Height: 24 in (95%)
Head Circumference: 15.5 in (75%)

The doctor said she looks perfect and even told me that I could start putting her to bed earlier and just waking her for her nighttime feeding! This is exciting news because it means we can all be sleeping all night long now (except for one 11:00 feeding)! E got her shots today and did awesome! She cried while they were giving them, but stopped immediately after. She really liked the Rotovirus medicine that she had to drink...it even made her smile. She is a little cranky now, but who wouldn't be after being stuck 3 times! What a brave girl. Since she can't have any treats yet, I got 2 for myself : ).

Sorry there aren't any pictures. I will (hopefully) get some posted once I download them.

Wow, I think she's as tall as Sierra! LOL! Just kidding, but she IS tall! That's how Ashlyn was (95% for height)...but not Sierra (25-50% for both). Fun, fun!! She's growin up big and strong! Are you back to work? How's it going?

I can't believe how big she is!! Kylee is three months and I think she weighs a little over 9 pounds! It's funny how different babies are. I know I am not a doctor, but I have read a lot of books and talked with several experienced mothers and I think you would be crazy to wake her up to eat! I have heard that after 10 pounds babies really don't need the calories through the night, so let them sleep. Although Kylee is not 10 pounds yet, we still let her sleep as long as she wants after her 10 dream feed (that is when we feed her while she is still asleep). She sleeps through the night a lot of nights now. Sorry to throw that out there, but I thought I would share my experience. I love to hear how other people do things. We can learn so much from each other!
