Yummy Pizza

Tonight I was feeling spontaneous, and so rather than eating our normal Mexican pizza or meatloaf, I decided to go out on a limb. I made a Chicken Broccoli Alfredo pizza and it was delicious! I just used the cheap pizza crust mix from a bag (next time I'll use crescent roll dough or a home made pizza dough) and then made this yummy alfredo from
1/2 cup butter
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 cups milk
6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1. Melt butter in a medium, non-stick saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese and garlic powder, stirring with wire whisk until smooth. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps. Stir in Parmesan and pepper. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency. Sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with milk if cooked too long. Toss with hot pasta to serve.
I then boiled some chicken with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. When it was done I shredded it and put it on the crust with the sauce and some frozen broccoli and mozzarella. Holy moly...this was awesome! We decided that it is going to be a staple in our house!

You are so good to be such an ambitious cook when your baby is only a month old! Sounds delicious...can't wait to try it!
