As everyone is posting about all of the wonderful times they had this holiday season, I write today in thanks for my life. I know Thanksgiving was a while ago, but I have so much to be thankful for! Last night when Steve and I were headed back to Provo from (a fantastic) Christmas vacation, we hit a deer going 75 mph.Maybe she was wearing sunglasses...I don't know. But thankfully the only damage done (besides a very dead deer) was a couple of broken lights and a small dent.
So again, I am giving thanks. I am thankful to be alive and healthy. I am thankful for a loving husband who decided to hit the deer rather than swerve into the ditch. I am thankful for a wonderful family who always loves and supports me. I am thankful for in-laws who are amazing. And last (and also least) I am thankful for a car that still works!

I am glad Steve hit the deer and not te ditch. It was so fun hanging out last night. We need to get together more.
love the cartoon, glad everything turned out alright...except for the deer i guess.
How scary! I am also very thankful you guys are okay! How is everything going? Miss you!
Steve,
Did you go back and gut the beast and take some pics for all to enjoy? Good times! You always did have the knack for hitting Bambi and escaping with only minor damage. Way to go Bro.

You run over the deer and we have them living in our yard. Come see us anytime and stay as long as you like.
