We Need Some Help
On Saturday Steve and I are moving up to Midway, hooray! As smart as we are, we chose to move on a holiday weekend, thus help is in short supply. If any of you will be in the Lehi area on Saturday morning and are in need of something to do, we would love your help loading up the moving truck. We could also use some help unloading in Midway if you are really bored that day! We don't have much to offer but food can be part of the equation : ). If anybody is interested just give me a call or email or something for directions. Thanks!

Birthday Mania
We made it through the week of birthdays! In my family, summer was always a crazy time because we have back to back birthdays. Then when I met Steve, I knew he would fit perfectly into our June b-day schedule. Here it goes:
Matt-June 22
Michelle-June 23
Steve-June 25
Mom-June 26
Crazy, right! Then my dad and I have birthdays on the 17th and 19th of July. My sister Kelsi lucked out, however, with her very own August birthday on the 9th.
Now we just need Michelle to marry someone with a June 24th or July 18th birthday to make things a little more fun!
This week we were able to surprise Michelle on her birthday by having my mom and siblings come down to meet us for dinner and shopping. This was Michelle's first week at BYU and she is doing a stellar job! Steve was able to have three birthday dinner celebrations thanks to his loving family. I think the week was pretty successful.
Happy Belated birthday, family!!! I love you!
Sadly I don't have any pictures of the actual birthday celebrations because, well, I'm smart like that.

It's Official!
Although I did graduate 2 months ago I haven't felt really official until this moment...
I am a graduated professional educator!!! Hooray! (Now we just need to wait for Steve's to come at the end of the summer.)

Mexico!
The week after school got out my mom took my Grandma, sister and I on a Mexican Riviera cruise. It was awesome! I loved watching Grandma get pampered and love it. Michelle and I were able to have some good bonding time in our little room as well.
Some highlights of the trip:
*Being the last ones on the ship due to some...trouble at the Boise airport for Mom and Michelle.
*Seeing dolphins jump right outside our window the first morning of the trip.
*Michelle being talked into tasting escargots (snails) and then of course I had to try one too. blech
*Watching Grandma attempt to understand what all of the people with crazy accents were trying to say to her.
*Me having my first taste of alcohol thanks to a drunken pear (and then spitting it immediately after because it was nasty!!!)
*Michelle being told she was being spoiled because she was so "hot" (she had a horrible sunburn).
*Ziplining through the forest of Puerto Vallarta.
*Enjoying every dessert every night. We even got free "birgin" (virgin) drinks a few times on that Mexican cruise "bacation" (vacation). (We loved how all of the guys in the dining room said couldn't say their v's.)

*All of the attention we got at the dining room because we were so fun every night...even without alcohol!
I don't have the best pictures from the trip so you'll have to look at my mom's blog for better ones. All in all it was a great vacation! Thanks Mom! I love you so much! And thanks Dad and Steve for letting us go...this was a much needed girl's "bacation!"

Update
I realized the other day that there are some of you whom I don't talk to very often and probably needed a little update on what's going on in my life. Here it is in a nutshell:
Steve and I graduated from BYU. I got a BS in Elementary Education and he got a BS in Exercise Science. We then moved from Provo to his sister's house in North Salt Lake to house sit for the summer. I got offered a job for next year teaching 1st grade at the school I am at right now. This is a big change from our many "plans" but still good nonetheless. Steve is hoping to start a graduate program at BYU in the Fall or Winter while we figure out how to break the system and get him into dental school! This summer we will be looking for a place to live in Heber...I'm going to let Steven brave Provo Canyon this year, I'm done.
So that's it! Exciting, I know. : )
